Gentle on pans and plates: The olive wood cake server protects delicate surfaces on coated pans, cake plates and dishes. The robust and durable material is particularly resistant to odours and bacteria, making the surface very hygienic. These positive properties make this serving aid for cakes and tarts an ideal assistant in the kitchen when cooking and baking.
The cake server can do more: The underside of the front of this cake server is bevelled so you can slide it more easily under the cake, tart or sweet piece. But it is not only suitable for sweet delicacies – thanks to its wide shape it is also perfect for transferring pizza slices onto the plate.
The olive tree belongs to the genus of oil trees. It can grow up to 20 metres high and live up to 1,000 years. Olive trees are primarily cultivated for harvesting olives. They are only felled if they bear no fruit over a longer period of time. Olive wood processing is a prime example of how environmentally friendly and health‑promoting products can be manufactured in harmony with nature – products that not only support environmental protection but are also functional and beautiful. Olive wood has a honey‑yellow colour, an expressive grain and outstanding material properties. It is a very hard wood, cut‑resistant and does not absorb liquids or odours into the core of the products. Most items are handmade and, due to the unique grain, one‑of‑a‑kind pieces.
Note: Natural olive wood of Italian origin. Polished with sunflower seed oil. MOCA certification for food contact
