Beer instead of poison: Many insect, animal and slug traps only work with poison baits, which pose a health risk to humans and animals if used incorrectly. In contrast, these snail traps do not use poisons and instead rely on the enticing scent of beer. The fact is that snails are attracted to the smell of beer. You only need to pour around 400 milliliters of the drink into the trap and the snails will crawl in all by themselves.

How to set the trap correctly: A big advantage is that the snail traps are ready for use in a flash. The inconspicuous containers are placed in close proximity to the vegetable or strawberry patch. The lower part must stand level on the ground or be buried in the soil until the upper edge is flush with the ground.
