Olive wood – the all-rounder in the kitchen: Olive wood is a natural raw material that is extremely durable even with frequent use. Scratches from cutlery cannot damage the material thanks to its high density, and odours are prevented from penetrating into the interior of the wood. The bowls remain odour-neutral and keep their beautiful shape – no matter how active you are in the kitchen.
The olive tree belongs to the olea genus. It can grow up to 20 metres high and live up to 1,000 years. Olive trees are primarily cultivated for olive harvesting. They are only felled if they do not bear fruit for a longer period. Olive wood processing is a prime example of how it is possible to produce environmentally friendly and health-promoting products in harmony with nature that not only contribute to environmental protection but are also functional and beautiful. Olive wood has a honey-yellow tone, a distinctive grain and outstanding product properties.
