Galileo Thermometer Classic

Probably the most fascinating and beautiful way to measure the ambient temperature. Developed by the Italian physicist Galileo Galilei at the end of the 16th century, it still amazes many people today. The function of the buoyancy thermometer is quite simple: Depending on the ambient temperature, the measuring balls filled with colored liquids rise or sink in the glass bulb. On the metal plate of the lowest floating ball you can read the current temperature.
