Orientation without battery or reception
Whether on long hikes, geocaching, at scout camp or on a bushcraft adventure off the beaten track: a reliable compass belongs in every backpack. This sighting and marching compass works completely without batteries, mobile network or app. It always shows you the cardinal direction – even where your smartphone has long since lost reception. This way you are out and about with peace of mind and, at the same time, you learn the classic way of navigating with map and compass.
Accurate bearings, easy to read
The compass capsule is liquid-damped, so the precision-mounted needle comes to rest quickly without wobbling. In the lid there is a sighting device that lets you take a bearing on prominent features in the terrain such as peaks, church towers or forest edges and determine your direction of travel. The magnifying glass in the viewfinder makes the scale easy to read. The combined graduation offers you the classic 360° scale plus a second scale for even finer bearings.
Robust, compact and always at hand
With 78 x 58 x 30 mm and around 90 g, the marching compass is handy and lightweight. When folded, the lid protects the capsule so you can stow it safely in your jacket, trouser pocket or backpack. The green housing with its classic outdoor look also makes it a great gift idea for hikers, scouts and nature lovers.
