Electrochemical sensor – The CO alarm detects carbon monoxide using an electrochemical sensor
Tested quality – The alarm complies with standard BS EN 50291-1:2018
LCD display – The display shows the CO concentration and the battery level
Visual and audible alarm – If the CO concentration rises, an 85 dB alarm sounds at a distance of 3 m
Long sensor service life – Sensor and alarm are designed for 10 years, the AA batteries last up to 3 years.
Carbon monoxide alarm for private households: The carbon monoxide alarm is designed to detect carbon monoxide (CO) in private living areas. An electrochemical sensor measures the CO concentration in the room air, and the alarm complies with standard BS EN 50291-1:2018. If the concentration increases, it triggers a visual and audible alarm of 85 dB at a distance of 3 m.
Versatile use in flats, houses and for leisure: Place the carbon monoxide alarm wherever carbon monoxide can be generated. Typical locations are rooms with a gas boiler, wood-burning stove, fireplace, pellet stove or gas cooker. The CO alarm is also a reliable companion in the boiler room, holiday home, caravan, motorhome or garden shed with a stove. The LCD display always shows the current measured value so you can immediately see whether everything is in the safe range.
Display, test button and batteries: Use the test button to check the function regularly. The alarm is powered by three AA batteries, which are included and last for up to three years. Sensor and alarm are designed for a service life of 10 years. The LCD display shows the measured CO concentration and the battery status.
Installation and important note: A wall mounting bracket is included. Please follow the placement instructions in the manual. A carbon monoxide alarm does not detect smoke and therefore does not replace a smoke alarm.
