Especially in rented flats, on hard concrete ceilings or in places where drilling is difficult or not desired, this smoke detector bracket is a practical solution. The adhesive mounting also shows its strengths when camping or on boats.

This is how the magnetic holder works: The set consists of two round elements with 3M adhesive pads. Stick the ceiling element onto the previously dry-cleaned ceiling, and the base element with the two magnets onto the back of your smoke alarm. Then simply place the smoke detector onto it and the magnetic force holds it securely on the ceiling element. The quick mount fits almost all common smoke alarms with a diameter of around 8 cm. It is not suitable for vinyl wallpaper, polystyrene, or surfaces with non-stick, silicone or Teflon coatings.
